Getting the right fit matters — especially with heritage-style footwear and garments.
Use this guide to find your best fit before placing your order.

How to Measure

Follow these steps to measure your body accurately. Use a flexible measuring tape and wear minimal clothing for the most accurate results.

Jackets

Shoulder width: Measure straight across from where the shoulder seam meets the sleeve on one side to the other.

Chest: Measure from armpit to armpit, just below the sleeve seam

Sleeve length: Measure from where the shoulder seam meets the sleeve down to the end of the cuff.

Length: Measure from the base of the back collar down to the bottom hem of the garment.

How to Choose the Right Jackets: If your chest or shoulder measurements fall between two sizes, choose the larger size for layering comfort — especially if you plan to wear thick garments underneath. For a sharper, more tailored look, choose the closer fit. Always compare your measurements to the garment’s size chart rather than relying solely on your usual size label.

Jeans

Waist: Measure straight across the waistband from one edge to the other, making sure both the front and back waistlines are aligned.

Hip: Measure horizontally across the widest part of the pants, about 8 cm (or 3 inches) above the crotch seam. Keep the tape parallel to the bottom hem for accuracy.

Front Rise: Measure from the crotch seam up to the top edge of the front waistband.
This indicates how high the pants sit in the front.

Back Rise: Starting again from the crotch seam, measure up to the top edge of the back waistband. This helps assess coverage and comfort in the back.

Thigh: Measure straight across the thigh from the crotch seam out to the outer edge of the leg. Keep the tape level with the leg opening.

Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam straight down the inside of the leg to the hem. This determines the inner leg length and overall leg fit.

Length: Measure from the top of the waistband all the way down to the bottom hem of the leg.

Leg Opening: Measure across the bottom hem of the leg, from edge to edge, in a straight line. This is important for determining if the style is slim, straight, or wide-legged.

How to Choose the Right Jeans: All of our bottoms are raw / unwashed denim, which means they will shrink after the first wash. Our size charts list post-wash measurements, so match your size to these numbers rather than the raw garment.

If you’re between waist sizes, choose the larger size for comfort — especially if you prefer a more relaxed fit. For higher-rise cuts, consider both your waist and hip measurements to ensure proper fit. Also check thigh and leg opening measurements to match your preferred silhouette and mobility.

Footwear

Length: Stand on a sheet of paper and mark the tip of your longest toe and heel. Measure the distance.

Width: Measure the widest part of your foot (usually the ball of the foot).

Tip: Measure both feet and use the larger measurement when choosing your size.

How to Choose the Right Shoe Size

If your foot length falls between two sizes, it's best to go with the larger size for a more comfortable fit.

It's also common for one foot to be slightly longer than the other — in this case, use the measurement of the longer foot when selecting your size.
