Rooted in 1930s workwear and the rebellious spirit of 1950s motorcycle culture, the Brake House engineer boots 2690 can be ordered in your choice of premium Horween leathers—including Chromexcel (CXL), Essex, and Dublin. Horween Leather Company, founded in 1905 and long regarded as the “King of Leather.” is known for rich oils, deep character, and leathers that develop powerful patina over time. Crafted using Goodyear welt construction and a VIBRAM® rubber sole, they deliver long-term durability, a resoleable build, and enduring vintage style with modern performance.

Compared to model 3530, this version features a narrower, sharper-toed silhouette that gives the boot a sleeker, more aggressive stance, ideal for pairing with tapered denim or more tailored workwear for a clean, assertive look.

The design includes a forward-angled 10.6" shaft and a 1.4" heel, accentuating a sense of motion and intent—bringing both edge and mobility to this heritage-driven profile.
