Size M, L & XL: orders open, shipping from the next production run.

The first run went faster than we planned for, so rather than take the size down we’ve kept it available while building the next one. That run is scheduled to finish production between September 20 and 25, and size M, L & XL orders ship as soon as it comes off the line. Every other size is in stock and ships as usual.

The “Motorist” rebuilds a 1930s sports-jacket pattern for modern builds: generous room through the chest and shoulders, with a deliberate taper at the hem, the crisp vintage line without giving up comfort. Co-developed with REAL SIMONS: thirty years of production experience, shaped by the real fit data we’ve collected from Brake House customers.

The shell is REAL SIMONS’ original “Padova” tea-core horsehide: AA-grade Polish hides in a blackened-brown finish that patinas warm with wear, treated with extra oil re-fill and casein for a soft, clean-grained hand. Wool-blend body lining; sleeve lining with a quiet sheen. CONMAR zipper (Newark, New Jersey), sewn throughout with Coats thread.

178cm / 82kg이고 헬스를 오래 해서 어깨랑 가슴이 좀 있는 체형입니다. 주문하고 사이즈 상담을 다시 받으면서 한 사이즈 변경했는데, 바꾸길 정말 잘한 것 같아요. 어깨랑 가슴은 편하게 맞으면서 허리 쪽은 뜨지 않아서 운동한 체형에 특히 잘 어울리는 핏입니다. 사이즈 상담도 정말 꼼꼼하게 해주셨고, 받아서 입어보니 추천해주신 사이즈가 딱 맞았습니다.

The photos don't really do this jacket justice. In person, the leather, hardware, stitching and lining all feel exceptionally well put together. Nothing is overly flashy, but the quality becomes obvious the closer you look. I've handled jackets that cost considerably more, and this easily holds its own.

This is easily one of the best-fitting leather jackets I've owned. I have a fairly broad upper body and I can move comfortably in it, but it still has a really flattering shape when zipped up. The leather is another highlight. Thick and substantial, but much easier to wear than I expected for horsehide. It already feels like it's settling in nicely after a few weeks, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it changes with more wear. It has the character I wanted from an old-school leather jacket without many of the compromises that usually come with one.
