Description

A faithful reproduction of the A-2 flight jacket issued under contract W535AC2881942-18775P in May 1942 by Aero Clothing Co. of Beacon, New York — the last wartime A-2 contract. Built from dark seal brown horsehide with brick-red knits, mustard lining, and boxy wartime proportions. Finished with custom lambswool ribbing, authentic WALDES zippers, and DOT buttons.

Aero's final 18775 contract featured rectangular pockets, larger back panels, and brown-green contrast stitching — retained here
Custom seal-brown horsehide matched to original wartime shades — dense, pliable, full-grain

Japanese-sourced WALDES and Asahi zippers; custom DOT buttons
