I usually wear size 40 sneakers and size 38 dress shoes and ankle boots. These size 39 engineer boots fit properly with two pairs of socks (one thick cotton pair) and insoles, making them perfect for winter. I've bought similarly priced boots from other brands, and they fall at least two levels behind in terms of materials, craftsmanship, and comfort.
