Details

Evolved from early 1900s Car Coats worn by open-top drivers, the Grizzly combined horsehide leather with sheepskin panels to resist wind and cold — a practical yet iconic form later nicknamed “Grizzly” for its bear-like appearance.
Crafted from 1.3mm full vegetable-tanned Padova tea-core horsehide using AA-grade Polish hides, the leather is oil-enriched and casein-finished for softness, gloss, and depth. Over time, the black surface reveals warm brown undertones, forming a rich, personal patina unique to the wearer.
