The 1940s California Single Sport Jacket is REAL SIMONS' study of the horsehide sport jacket — the notched-lapel, straight-zip, three-pocket silhouette that has stayed in rotation for over a century. After examining numerous 1940s originals, REAL SIMONS refined the proportions into a shorter, wider cut better suited to modern bodies, while preserving the spirit of the original: symmetrical angled pockets, a softened side-waist curve, and period-correct 1940s teardrop zipper pulls. Built from oil-rich tea-core horsehide and finished with IDEAL hardware. Available in Black Padova and Amber Brown.
