Description

Brake House 2690 engineer boots draw on 1930s utility wear and 1950s motorcycle culture. Built from full-grain vegetable-tanned tea-core cowhide on Goodyear welt construction with your choice of custom rubber or VIBRAM® outsole. A forward-leaning shape and roomier ankle fit set the 2690 apart from the 3530. Pairs well with tapered denim and tailored workwear.

How to measure

Stand up with your weight even on both feet, wearing the socks you’ll wear with the boots.
Put a sheet of paper against a wall; stand with your heel touching the wall.
Mark the tip of your longest toe, then measure heel-to-mark (cm or inch).
Measure both feet and use the longer one.

WOW! IMPRESSIVE
Right out of the box I was blown away. Quality stitching, 0 loose or fuzzy threads. Straight sewing lines. I wear a 10 US size and measured my feet as they request. Ended up with the Euro 43 and fit is great. Adjust straps and added thin insoles, perfection. I am thoroughly impressed with these boots. If on the fence go for it. On my feet exactly 10 days from ordering them. Easy tracking impeccable customer service. Unbelievable quality for this price point!!

A friend of mine recommended the engineer boots from Brake House, and they did not make me disappointed. The quality is excellent, and the leather has a beautiful shine. They are a bit stiff at first and need some time to break in. The heel height is just right. The fit is spot on, no squeezing and no pressure on the instep. Highly recommended!
